Challenge

Effective communication is essential for business success. FirstCaribbean Bank recognized the need to modernize its collaboration infrastructure to improve communication efficiency, employee productivity, and overall user experience. Although the bank was already utilizing Cisco collaboration solutions, a high-level redesign and upgrade strategy was required to support future growth and evolving business needs.

Solution

GlobalXperts leveraged its expertise in advanced Cisco solutions to develop a comprehensive high-level design for the upgrade and deployment of Cisco Webex Meetings Server (CWMS). The project involved transitioning from Cisco MeetingPlace/Webex to either CWMS or Webex Cloud while supporting a complete on-premises collaboration strategy.

Working closely with FirstCaribbean, GlobalXperts completed the full PPDIO lifecycle — Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, and Operate — ensuring that all business and technical objectives were achieved.

GlobalXperts engineers collaborated remotely throughout the design phase and also provided onsite support in Barbados for project kickoff activities, site surveys, design validation, and stakeholder engagement.
